The current TBH Wiki snapshot contains 6 heroes, 24 community builds, a 100-level Cube table and the full rune tree. The beginner goal is not a perfect final build; it is a stable order for party setup, chest capacity, gold, experience and Cube decisions.
Stabilize the Party Before Chasing Rolls
A steadier opening order is to let Ranger carry damage first, add Priest early as the front-line and blessing slot, then unlock Sorcerer for area clear. Priest should take defensive gear and resistance, while Ranger and Sorcerer prioritize weapons and core skills. If a boss blocks progress, check positioning and carry HP before replacing the whole party setup.
Rune Tree and Cube Priority
Early runes are not only about damage. Wealth and Growth affect gold and experience pace; Containment, Vault, Infinity, Opening and Lubrication affect chest capacity and opening efficiency for common, stage-boss and act-boss chests. They directly reduce daily cleanup pressure.
Start Cube decisions with low risk: Alchemy turns dead items into gold, Synthesis uses 9 same-grade pieces to push rarity, and Decoration, Engraving or Inscription should wait for gear worth keeping. Crafting and market checks come after inventory is stable.
FAQ
Which hero is safest to raise first?
The conservative route values complete party functions. Ranger, Sorcerer and Priest cover sustained damage, wave clear and safety; add Knight when the team needs a sturdier front line.
Should runes start with damage or chests?
Add core damage when progression stalls. If routine play is interrupted by chests and inventory, prioritize capacity, opening and lubrication runes. Fewer interruptions often mean faster progress.
Should dead gear be alchemized or synthesized?
Alchemy is direct when gold is the bottleneck. Use Synthesis when enough same-grade gear can push rarity. Save Decoration, Engraving and Inscription for gear worth keeping.
