Task Bar Hero Stage Guide: EXP, Chaos Resistance, and Safe Farming

Do not farm the highest stage by default. Compare hero level, EXP bonuses, clear time, stage level, and resistance for better hourly EXP.

Start with EXP per hour

The highest available stage is not always the best leveling spot. Estimate EXP per hour from hero level, bonuses, clear time, and stage level, then check whether the frontline survives elemental and chaos damage.

Measure three numbers

Compare stages near your level

For a level 70 hero, stages around level 68-77 are a useful full-EXP test band. Compare clear times across candidates; pushing higher only helps when runs stay fast and failures are rare.

High EXP stages still need resistance

Late Act 3 stages can pressure elemental and chaos defenses. If frontline resistance or reduction is low, stepping down one stage is often faster than repeated failures.

FAQ

Q: Why not always farm the highest stage?

EXP penalties, slower clears, and failures all reduce hourly gain. Stability matters more.

Q: How do I count EXP bonuses?

Add visible rune, gear, and panel bonuses. Do not include unconfirmed hidden bonuses.

Q: When should auto-retry be on?

Use it when the team usually clears and only fails sometimes. If it fails consistently, lower the stage or improve survival.
